Yes. We have already initiated a complex control quality system, because we do care about it. It consists of all stages of repair. Each steering box has its' own identity number and a card, that contains all the data about steering box and how it has been repaired.


2. Does the workshop has devices used for diagnostic of steering boxes±

Yes. These are devices, that are unique in Poland and few in the whole world. They enable to conduct a full simulation of steering box's work in real conditions for steering boxes as well as for rack and pinion steering units. In this way we can exclude any whatever repair fault.


3. Does a remanufactured steering box differ from a new unit?

For the needs of remanufacture we use only new parts. As a result we receive a measurement on a computer diagnostic stand, which shows that the parameters of examined steering box fit in standards given by producers of new steering gears. In this way we can give a one year guarantee, which is as long as the one given by the producer.


4. Do the producers also remanufacture steering boxes±

Yes, they do. By doing it in the similar way as we do it, they obtain the same effect.


5. Why are the steering boxes remanufactured at your company cheaper than the ones remanufactured at Scania or Volvo services±

Although the parts' prices are similar, the cost of work in Poland is still lower, so we can give more profitable prices. To this price you need to add costs of transport and the salesman's margin of profit. This is why the less mediators, the lower the price is.


6. I've heard that someone remanufactures steering boxes in price of 600 pln net, why are you so expensive?

He doesn't remanufacture, only exchange some seals. It the best to speak with the clients the benefited from this kind of service. It is the best way to get to know the credibility's opinion of these kind of workshops. Unfortunately they break opinion also of companies like ours, because we meet clients that do not believe in remanufacture, because they believe that this process does no good. After a visit at our company they change their opinion.


7. When my steering box doesn't work is it better to remanufacture it or buy a used one?

Repair. It is a cheaper and better option. A remanufactured steering box with the use of new parts fulfil the producers' standards. It is verified on a diagnostic stand and it has a one year guarantee, without mileage limits. For a used (not remanufactured) steering box, a salesman will not give a one year guarantee, in fact he will give nothing at all. This cannot be examined only at a guess.


8. Do you remanufacture all types of steering boxes±

Yes, if only we can identify a steering box or a steering pump, therefore use appropriate parts.


9. Are there any parts that are not exchanged during remanufacture?

Yes; these are shaft, piston and housing.


10. My car has to ride and I hale no time to repair the steering box, what shall I do?

The remanufacture of steering gear last abort 5 hours, and our company Works from 7 am till 3 pm. If a steering box gets to us early in the morning, you can collect it back the same day or we will send it to you the same day.


11. My car had an accident, the steering box looks quite good, but it jams a Littre, what shall I do?

One of the accident's effects, might be a shaft's damage (bent) in steering box or impression of ball bearings on the inner side of shaft. We do not machine these kind of shafts, because it is to dangerous and it will not bring any positive results. For the asking we make evaluations and judgements for insurance companies. In case of after accidental inefficiency, we propose a sale of our steering boxes, that are after our remanufacture and has a one year guarantee.

Besides that it often happens, that into a steering box that is stored or used in the wrong way there might get water in. After some time a corrosion may develop, which will effect as simmering damage, and an oil leak is ready.

The remanufacture of rack and pinion steering box last about 4-5 hours. In case there is a need of rack sanding, the steering box is ready for the next day. It is so, because we need to order appropriate seals.

1. What types of pumps do you remanufacture?

First of all the blade pumps and rack pumps in minority; we do not remanufacture piston pumps.


2. Can you tell the final price of remanufacture of steering pump on the phone?

Unfortunately it isn't possible. Pumps may be damaged in many different ways. For example, one might have a twisted shaft, in other the rotor might be damaged.


3. Do you have any pumps for exchange?

We do not have pumps for exchange because of the issues mentioned above. Client will pay only for this, that has been exchanged.


4. My pump suddenly stopped to work, what could have happened³

Most probably the pump's shaft has turned. Sometimes, the rotor with cylinder get damaged, which also has to be exchanged.


5. In my car the Power steering doesn't work, when you press the gas pedal it gets better, what could have happened³

It is the most common of steering pumps' damages. The might got seized or the rotor's shaft of the pump was damaged.


6. Is it possible, that through a pump the drossy oil from engine gets to the steering system?

It is possible. The pump is driven by distribution, and a twolips seal might got damaged. In this case you need to deliver this pump to us for seal exchange. But the thing isn't over yet, because there might be a need of general pump remanufacture.
